A Peacekeeper is much more than an “international security guard”, it is a security elite with a rigorous code of ethics and morals.
A Peacekeeper has much deeper values and really wants to change things.
He knows that peace is being built, one action at a time, and one action, no matter how small, is worth more than 100 words.
Peacekeeper is a way of BEING that is transposed into actions.
Keep this picture (below) to inspire you, to inspire others, to remind you WHY you fight, WHY you’ve decided that it was enough and you want to act.
Our Peacekeepers have these values before they even come to us. One of the first questions we ask is: “Is it important for you to help your neighbor?”
We do not ask for your background, your experience, and so on. All of this can be taught, but the deep values that make a person really want to change things can not be taught.
They can be shared to inspire people around.
This is what we wanted to do with this image. This is the manifesto of the Peacekeeper. Its deep values. Our deep values.
These are values in which we believe in and it is these values that motivates us every day to continue.
We hope they will have the same effect on you.
Share them, practice them and inspire others to do the same. Be proud of being the pioneers and being who you are, as we are.
