Azøth Peacekeeping Training Institute
Newly formed; APTI (Azøth Peacekeeping Training Institute) is an internationally renowned institute of higher education in the field of security, overseen by the Security Council, made up of retired military senior officers, bringing several years of experience and expertise in world peacekeeping.
Experienced trainers have over 30 years of varied teaching experience, both military, police and tactical defence.
This unique program in Canada, is aimed primarily at candidates with experience in the private or public security, police or military.
The basic program: “Humanitarian Global Defence” is intended to prepare the candidate to international security operations and peacekeeping, outside the UN framework.
The philosophy of the program is primarily focused on achieving a multidisciplinary competence of the participant, which will allow him a variety of assignments in the field of security and facilitate its ability to adapt during a foreign mission.
The entire program (in your career within our ranks) lasts approximately 1,000 hours.
The basic program lasting 300 hours, is 7 weeks long.

As part of his duties, the International Peacekeeper must not only be able to identify risks to the security of goods and people, but also to concretely apply the methods and techniques related to the monitoring, prevention and protection of infrastructure, goods and people under his responsibility, while ensuring to protect himself and all of his colleagues.
The operations related to knowing your environment will be explore through topography and radio operations. Emergency response measures will also be part of a general knowledge taught through this course. After acquiring the basic concepts related to safety and emergency measures in general, the future international peacekeeper must learn to plan and take part in protection operations.
The middle part of the course aims to deepen specific concepts for the protection of critical infrastructure, to escort people, to escort and protect convoys and high-risk cargo in hostile area, as well as control crowd.
Teamwork will be put forward, as well as leadership development. Candidates also begin their training with weapons.
The last 3 weeks are essentially oriented towards tactical aspects related to operations of intervention and protection. Physical training, scenarios and group exercises are prioritized at the end of the program.
Applicants will be constantly tested to ensure that those selected at the end of the program are able to provide with integrity, professional and efficiency, the agent function of international peacekeeper for the AZØTH Group.
